ZeroDays CTF 2025

A Landmark Moment for the UK Cyber Team

Held at the iconic Croke Park and featuring over 300 participants across 128 teams, this was no ordinary Capture the Flag (CTF) event, it was the UK Cyber Team's first official international outing. Divided into three sub-teams - UKCT Elite, UKCT Discovery, and UKCT Team 3 - our players brought not only their technical firepower but also remarkable collaboration, leadership, and resilience.

The result? Finishing 2nd, 4th, and 11th overall, placing all three sub-teams in the top 9% of the leaderboard. An extraordinary outcome that speaks volumes about the talent and preparation of this inaugural cohort.

Beyond the scoreboard, the competition served as a proving ground for team dynamics and international camaraderie. The UK Cyber Team exchanged ideas with their counterparts from Slovakia (the event winners) and friends from Team Ireland, laying the groundwork for future cross-border collaboration.
